National Workshop to be held

A two-day National Workshop on Media for Civic Engagement on Anti-corruption Issues is going to be held on 24-25th June 2016 at SAP Falcha, Babarmahal, Kathmandu. Organised by Development Communication Society (SODEC) Nepal, the workshop is a part of the Strengthening Citizen Engagement in Anti-Corruption Efforts (STREAC) project. The workshop will mainly focus on media producers and presenters on lessons and challenges of media mobilization while disseminating anti-corruption information.

Overall Objective

To develop a minimum common understanding on the issues of governance and media

Specific Objectives

  • - To share the diverse issues related to governance, anti-corruption and media
  • - To draft a tentative plan of action for media engagement in governance and anti-corruption issues
  • - To facilitate discussions through media content in increasing citizen engagement on governance and anti-corruption issues
