SODEC is aware that Interim Constitution 2063 has also adopted women right as fundamental right alone with respecting the international laws like CEDAW, CRC, Beijing Platform and other international instruments. Moreover, Nepal has also formulated the pro-women and children related domestic laws to promote and preserve their rights like Domestic Violence (Crime and Punishment) Act, 2066 (2009). Similarly, 11th amendment of Civil Code has granted property right to women.

Similarly, women participation and 33% reservation of women in each of party representation in politics is ensured by national laws e.g. 33% representation on the last Constituent Assembly and party wings was also considerable in politic.
